At the ancient majestic location of Karvetinagaram, there is an important Lord Krishna temple renowned as the Sri Venugopalaswamy Temple Karvetinagaram. This is the only Krishna temple located in the vicinity of Tirupati, depicting the Childhood of Lord Krishna.
Shrine’s History
This temple beholds the beautiful image of Venugopala Krishna, an eternally charming Lord Krishna holding flute at the reading position and his favourite pot of butter kept at the feet. As the Lord is positioned in-front of a cow, the time and circumstances are clear and precise. But the presence of his consorts Sri Rukmini Ammavaru and Sri Satyabhama AmmaVaru brings us a greater perspective about the temple and the Lord. It tells us that Lord Krishna is ever-present while transcending the limits of time and life. With paying homage to Sri Venugopala Swamy, you can find relief from many earthly worries and problems. When a childless couple visits the Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple, the Lord shall bless you with a child, beholding the blessings of Lord Krishna.
