Just 2 kilometres away from the town of Vemulawada is an interesting temple, at Nampally Gutta. It is the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple. The temple is nestled on a small hillock on the highway connecting Vemulawada and Karimnagar. The powerful Lord Narasimha Swamy adorns the hills.
Shrine’s History
Nampally Gutta is located in Nampally Village, Karimnagar near Vemulawada. Sri Rajarajanarendra was ruled this area by the centre of nampally village. One day lord shiva came to his dream when he was a laper and told to build a temple for him in the middle of vemulawada and gone.Then raja raja Narendra has constructed the temple 100 years ago.
Architectural Relevance of This Shrine
The little temple doesn’t look like an ancient one and is attached to a huge rock, which indicates to a probable idol, that was carved out of the rock, around which the temple was built. At the entrance of the temple, you can find a statue of Lord Narasimha breaking his way out of a pillar.

Vehicles are only restricted to a certain point on the hill from where the tourists have to walk a few hundred steps that lead to the top. The climb up to the temple may be strenuous as it is slightly steep. When you reach the top of the hill, you will reach this small temple dedicated to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy.
