Singotam also called as Singapatnam is famous for the historic Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy temple, constructed 400 years back by the Jetaprolu Samsthana Kings of Surabhi dynasty. The temple is built on the bank of Singasamudram, a gigantic water reservoir spread across more than 10 kilometres area.

During Sankranthi Festival, the temple authority organises ‘Theru’ and ‘Garudavahanam’ for a period of 10 days. The temple authority organises ‘Sankranthi Jathara’ for a whole month from January 15th to February 15th every year. The tourists flow during these days is very high to the temple.
