This temple is 17th Century shrine. According to the History of the place, the Holy Shrine was found in excavations as per the directions of Lord in the dreams of a devotee.
Shrine’s History
It is believed that those who have desires to visit the shrine and get the sacred thread tied to the hand while praying the Lord for a fulfillment of the desires and it is strongly believed that the desires get fulfilled in the shortest possible time. As such the Shrine is named as Kankana Shri Nrisimha Swamy.
