Lord Vinayaka has manifested as Swayambhu 200 years ago. Initially, devotees thought to install the idol of Lord Vinayaka in Shivalayam. They started digging to take out complete idol but they failed to find the trunk of Vinayaka as it is endless. This dug place is known as Enugu Bhode now it’s being called as Paatha Cheruvu. Mahasamprokshana was performed by Sri Chunduri Venkanna Panthulu in 1956. Bala Ganapathi Society developed the temple from 1975.
