Sri Ganesh Temple Secunderabad

Sri Ganesh Temple is a highly revered shrine situated near the Secunderabad Junction Railway Station. The temple enshrines Lord Ganesh as the presiding deity. The idol of Ganesh was found in a well in 1824 and was installed by his holiness Adi Shankaracharya of Kanchi Peetam.

Architectural Relevance of This Shrine

Devotees who come to this temple can get a blessing of Lord Shiva family who resides at Mount Kailash. There are idols of lord Shiva, Parvati, Sri Valli Devasena sametha Lord Subramanya Swamy and main deity lord Ganesh. Apart from Shiva family, you also have lord Hanuman idol who is considered lord Shiva form facing south.
